I was born, raised, and educated in Southern California and in the mid-seventies served six
years in the USAF (Bitburg AFB, West Germany and Seymour Johnson AFB in North Carolina). In
1980, I married my wife and business partner, Sue, and raised three wonderful, successful sons
and have now been blessed with four beautiful grandchildren. Always the entrepreneur, I have founded
several successful small businesses including an aerospace firm, an office supply, print shop and
gift shop. I have always been a musician and in the old days, I performed small gigs singing and
playing guitar and still enjoy entertaining to this day. An avid horseman, I earned a Farrier’s
Certificate from Cal Poly Pomona and did a little side work shoeing horses until the physical
demands caught up with my body. Finally, in 2000, Sue and I opened our first real estate
brokerage in Big Bear Lake, CA and despite some major market adjustments, we’ve been busy
ever since.

I am a firm believer in education and earned a Real Estate Certificate from San Bernardino Valley College before testing for my California Broker's license in 2001 and passing on my first attempt, a feat that less than forty percent of applicants accomplish. A few years later, I earned my GRI, Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, my CRS, Certified Residential Specialist, my CRB, Certified Residential Broker, and a RSPS, Resort and Second Home Property Specialist designations. As a Tri-State Broker, I continue to teach real estate principles and marketing techniques to my agents and staff.

Over the past twenty years I have brokered new and resale residential, commercial, property management, and business opportunity transactions and continue to run a successful Tri-State real estate firm. I would love the opportunity to add your name to my long list of satisfied clients and friends.
